Our Focus

  • Queer Folks

    ‍ ‍

You’re exploring. You’re coming out. You need transition support. Laws are shifting. You want to change your relationship structure. You just need mental health maintenance. You deserve a therapist you don’t have to explain it all to.

  • People with Disabilities/Disabled Folks

Whether disability has been a lifelong experience, a temporary experience, or a new one, there can be a lot to navigate. The physical impacts, the mental load, and navigating insurance or healthcare access all add up. Your therapist has over a decade of experience navigating these issues both professionally and personally. You’ll have someone alongside you who understands your experience and who has the practical knowledge to build solutions that help you.

  • Survivors of State Violence

No matter who you are or what you believe, experiences with state/police violence or harassment can fundamentally change the way you view the world. At Mass Construction, your therapist understands the personal, societal, and systemic impacts of harm that comes from the people that are supposed to protect you.

  • Neurodivergent Folks

Maybe you’ve gotten a formal diagnosis, or you just feel like you want to better understand how your brain is working. Therapy at Mass Construction can help you adapt and build skills and community without asking you to be someone you’re not. From organizational and career support to emotional and social support, schedule a vibe check to see if therapy could help.

Meet your therapist

Hi, I’m Chris.

I started Mass Construction Psychotherapy because it’s the type of space I couldn’t find for myself. My relationship with neurodivergence, disability, queerness, and systemic violence covers 15 years of professional experience and a lifetime of the personal.

My approach recognizes that therapy can help you understand yourself, make choices, and find ways to adapt, but you can’t self-care your way out of a system that threatens your well-being. We’ll work with what’s in your control while navigating what isn’t.
